The yet-to-be-named album is coming on the heels of an extremely successful 2018 for the 21-year-old artist. Khalid, the R&B superstar and confirmed fan of Jonathan the Husky, will be releasing his sophomore album sometime during April of this year. Talking to Billboard, he described his inspiration for the album as “an album that really takes that a step further with all of the songs centreing around trying to find a purpose and a sense of self in a world where everything is digitally connected but emotionally disconnected”. When Khalid does eventually announce the album, it will surely be followed by an announcement of a tour. And given the fact that his last tour was a world tour, it is highly likely that he will return to the UK with a number of dates.
